A natural, skin-friendly approach to permanent makeup!

Permanent Makeup

We offer both eyebrow and eyeliner enhancement services at SPIRAL utilizing micropigmentation techniques. This is achieved using a specialized machine with needle micro-insertion that allows the color to be safely placed into the skin at various depths. This technique offers the most versatility regardless of your skin type, or the style you hope to achieve!

Our goal is always to achieve natural results that are tailored to your specific skin type, tone, and facial features while preserving the integrity of the skin.

Interested in permanent makeup services?

Microblading is a form of permanent cosmetics, but it is achieved by manually depositing pigment to the skin with a hand tool vs a machine with needle insertion.

How is this different from microblading?

Pain is extremely minimal. The area is numbed with a topical numbing agent prior to beginning the service, then a secondary numbing is utilized during the service. Most clients initially only feel more of a scratching sensation, but the skin quickly becomes completely numb.

Does it hurt?

That varies per client. Lifestyle habits, sun exposure, and medication use all affect the longevity of pigment retention. This is considered a permanent service, so while the pigment may drastically fade over several years, it may not ever completely go away. Due to the high amount of sun exposure in NorCal, most clients like to come in for a color boost/touch-up appointment every 1-3 years.

How long does it last?

Yes, we are able to offer services over other work. However, a consult is required to determine if we will be able to offer your permanent makeup services over what you currently have. In some cases, removal will be necessary first, but not always.

Is it ok if I’ve had permanent makeup done before with someone else?

Due to the risk of infection, it is not recommended to receive permanent makeup services while pregnant.

Can I receive permanent makeup if I’m pregnant?

There is no downtime, you are able to go right back to normal life other than a few contraindications to be aware of the first week when healing.

Is there any downtime?

All clients begin permanent cosmetic services at SPIRAL with a consultation. During this appointment, we will go over your health history, evaluate your skin type, and discuss your desired style as well as go over post-care to be sure you are an ideal candidate to safely receive this service.

What can I expect from the micropigmentation process?

Once we’ve determined this is ideal for you, we will schedule your initial micropigmenation appointment. Depending on which area you are receiving permanent makeup services the appointment takes anywhere from 1-3 hours. After, you will be provided with all of the necessary post-care products to care for your permanent makeup.

What can I expect from the micropigmentation process?

After your initial appointment, you will receive a 4-week touch-up appointment included with your service. At this appointment, we will enhance any areas that need a bit more focus!
